Dahi Palak
ingredients
4 cups palak (chopped)
1/2 cup yogurt
1 onion (chopped)
2 tbs ginger (chopped)
2 tbs garlic (chopped)
1 tsp garam masala powder
4 green chillis (chopped)
3 tbs oil
1 tsp cumin and musturd seeds
salt
1/2 tsp turmuric
method:
Heat 1 tbs of oil in a pan add chopped spinach sautee until it is wilted and cooked
remove from pan and keep aside, in a same pan heat remaining oil add cumin and musturd seeds let them splutter then add chopped ginger,garlic,onions and green chillis fry until golden then add cooked palak ,turmuric , saltand garam masala powder sautee for 5 min ,now add yogurt mix well and cook for another 5 min.DONE
SERVE HOT WITH ROTI ,NAAN,CHAPATHI.............
Like the combo of yogurt with spinach....must try it out some time.

ReplyDeleteSuch a healthy dish. Never paired spinach and yogurt before. Usually I make spinach-dal and mix with yogurt and eat. But this looks delicious too.
