Ingredients
1 cup potatoes (chopped)
1 cup paneer (cubed)
1 cup green peas (frozen)
1/2 cup carrots (chopped)
2 tbs oil
For gravy
1 tbs oil
2 cardamom pods
2 tomatoes (chopped)
1 tbs ginger (chopped)
1/2 cup cashews
8 green chillis
2 tsp kasuri methi
1 tsp garam masala powder
2 tbs butter
2 tbs cream
salt
Method
Heat oil in a pan add potatoes and carrots sprinkle with salt and fry on high flame for 2 min then turn the flame to low ,cover and cook until potatoes are fork tender
.
Now add paneer cubes and green peas fry for 2 more min ,turn off heat and keep aside
.
Heat 1 tbs oil in another pan add cardamom pods ,ginger and green chillis fry for a minute then add chopped tomatoes cover and cook untill tomatoes are soft then add cashews,kasuri methi , and garam masala ,mix everything ,turn off heat let it cool for 5 min then add everything to blender ,and make a smooth paste
.
Transfer the above blended masala paste to a pan and add cooked vegetables and 1 cup water, bring to a boil then add butter and cream ,MIX and adjust salt
.
Done serve hot with roti or pulao
Lovely curry to serve with chapathi.. :)
