Ingredients
2 tomatoes
1 tbs urad dal
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp musturd seeds
4 to 5 dry red chillis
1 inch tamarind
salt
For tadka
1 tbs oil
1 tsp cumin and musturd seeds
hing
1 dry red chilli
Method
Heat pan on a medium low heat dry roast cumin seeds , musturd seeds ,urad dal ,red chillis and tamarind
Roast whole tomatoes with 1 tsp oil
Add all the above roasted spices , tomatoes and salt in to blender and grind to a corse paste
Then heat oil for tadka add cumin and musturd seeds ,hing and dry redchilli ,pour tadka over chutney
done.
Yummy, I have two tomatoes I need to use up too :)
