INGREDIENTS

1 cup split moong dal ( pesara papu)
4 green chilies
2 tomatoes
1 spring cilantro
1/2 tsp turmuric
1 tsp oil
.
FOR TADKA
.
3 tbs oil
3 garlic cloves crushed
1 tbs chopped onion
1 tsp cumin seeds and musturd seeds
1 dry red chilli
curry leaves
.
METHOD
.
Wash dal and preassure cook with green chillis, cilantro , turmuric and 1 tsp oil ,until soft
.
Mash dal
.
Add salt and squeeze tomatoes in to dal and cook for another 5 to 10 min
.
Now heat oil in small pan add all the tadka ingredients ,fry until brown and add to dal
.
DONE ,serve hot with rice or roti
Looks simple and something I would enjoy making. The pic looks so good
