Senaga pappu vadalu



Ingredients

1-1/2 cup chanadal
2 to 3 tbs besan
1/2 cup onions (chopped)
1/2 cup cilantro and curry leaves
4 green chillis (chopped)
salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder (or) 2 inch stick
1 tbs cumin seeds
3 to 4 dry red chiilis
oil for deep frying





Method
Soak chana dal for 5 to 6 hours
.
Make a fine powder of cumin seeds,red chiilis,cinnamon ,salt.
.
In a food processer grind chanadal to a course wet powder (do not add any water while grinding
.
Mix chanadal powder,cumin , cinnamon ,red chili powder , chopped onions,cilantro,curry leaves , green chillis and besan
.
Adjust salt
.
Make tight patties like as shown in below picture
.
Heat oil and fry on a medium low flame until golden, drain on a paper towel
.
Done serve hot with ketchup
