Palak Puri



Ingredients for dough
.
1 cup chopped spinach
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
2 to 3 green chillis (finely chopped)
1 cup wheat flour
salt
Water to make dough
oil for deep frying

.
Method
.
In a bowl add flour, onions , spinach , green chillis , salt Mix everything then sprinkle with water and make a stiff dough ( like regular puri dough)
.
Do not let the dough sit more than 5 min ,it will become watery
.
Make a lemon size balls with dough and roll like puries
.
Heat oil and deep fry puries in a medium flame untill golden
.
Serve hot with any curry

Lovely puris, Sagari! nice idea to add spinach in puris which makes them healthy. Why don't you send it to roti mela?
