Aloha, Sagari,
I've been planning to cook moong dal (here it's called mung beans) all week, but I only know Filipino recipes. I have both the dal and a bottle gourd right now, so I think I'm going to try this recipe tonight!
I've looked at some of your lovely baked delicacies, as well. You're a great baker. I'm going to try your sponge cake recipe soon, too. Your black forest was quite beautiful and authentic-looking -- it was my favorite cake when we lived in Germany!
Hope you're staying warm! Thanks for your visit to my site -- now I've found a recipe for dinner, too! ; )

I've not cooked with ridge gourd yet, but now that okra has won me over, it's just a matter of time...: ) Moong dal, a familiar legume, would be a good intro for me.
